I love this book. For the beginner, and for the seasoned practitioner, this book will keep you on the right path, with regard to training and application. There are negative things I could write about this book, but they pale in comparison to the main message. This book answered a lot of my questions and confirmed a lot of my suspicions about the limitations and misunderstandings found so often in modern-day schools here in America.

I would highly recommend this book take a place on your shelf, along with the Wing Chun Compendium I and II, Shaun Rawcliff's books, and Chu Shong Tin's Book of Wing Chun I and II.

Wong Shun Leung was one of the greatest martial artist of all time. In this book Sifu David Peterson explain very clearly his fighting philosophy.
Great book!
I was waiting for this edition to show up on . Be warned, shipped the same old 2006 edition twice. The edition shipped only had some 112 pages (I forgot the exact count), but it should have 216 pages, published Jan. of 2009. I contacted the author, David Peterson and he indicated that he had previously tried contacting to make this correction but they never corrected this mistake. Don't order this book from .
It is a good book for you to learn not only ving chuen but also sifu wong shun leung !!!

Really really a good book ! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, even some passages several times. It really is fantastic to see that success comes with a humble man (like some good CEO's in some company's) wanting to share his knowledge, and at the same time very logic and practical.
