Mulliner Nights PG Wodehouse Books Reviews
P.G. Wodehouse is "inimitable." Another treasure for my collection. The world's ills could solve themselves by the smiles and laughter elicited by reading this wordsmith of delight. He is unparalleled.
The first three stories in this collection are of a brilliance that left me shaking. Unfortunately the middle is a bit flabbier, not bad, but not quite as good
This was such a fun collection of short stories. Wodehouse makes me laugh out loud. Here's one of my favorite lines
"And for the first time he had ceased to feel like something a cat, having dragged from an ash can, has inspected and rejected with a shake of the head as unfit for feline consumption."
funny and extremely well written
The best stories ever, that is if you enjoy hilarious English comedy.
Probably not as rib tickling as the Jeeves and Wooster or Blandings Castle books, but I loved these bite sized stories.
Wodehouse is always a safe bet, and Mr. Mulliner is awesome!
